Recently I had a disagreement with my Mother. We are both strong women so we have been known to do such a thing. But this was a disagreement that I am quite sure, is quite common.
The hot topic?
Why, while I am pushing 30 is my high school graduation photo with my fake smile and braces, wearing a shiny teal green gown in front of a god awful backdrop still occupying a 16x20" space on her other wise well decorated living room wall?
If, 10 years after my high school graduation I am going to have to look at myself in a huge print everytime I visit, I would much prefer a more unique photo. Something that showed my personality, and not the same unflattering gown that all of the other graduates wore for their equally stiff photos. I am full of personality, ergo, so should the photos commemorating the beginning of the next phase of my life!
