Mike & Lucinda | Edmonton Wedding Photographer

This is my follow up posting from last night! I have some more photos of Mike and Lucinda's wedding that I couldn't wait to share!
Every bride puts a lot of thought into the flowers that will go into her bouquet, however Lucinda took it to the next level all together. She grew some of the flowers from her bouquet. Really, how cool is that?

I love how stoked Mike looks watching Lucinda and her parents come down the aisle! Nothing beats the grooms expression when he takes his first look at his bride!
The wedding was outside on a beautiful acreage in Ardrossan. You could never have guessed that the place was ravaged by a thunderstorm a week or so before! I didn't even know it had been affected until I saw the photos they had taken while they were cleaning up! There were literally trees everywhere that had been knocked down!

Fast forward to dessert! Really, this photo needs no explanation. Cuteness personified!
While I was off shooting elsewhere, a very different guest arrived....
This might very well be the only wedding that I shoot that has a Llama!

I love this shot of Lucinda playing games with the ring bearer! He had stripped off his stiff wedding clothes and was just hanging out having a great time!
I LOVE this moment with Mike and his Mom....

Mike and Lucinda were very clear that they didn't want any posed images of their day, but when I heard they were going to the Fairmont Hotel McDonald in Edmonton, I knew we had to do some shots from their balcony. I am so glad we did!

Check out a slide show of the day!

These are great Amy. I just ADORE the little girl with blue cupcake frosting on her nose! But my fave is the bride and boy playing 'Coits' (well that's what we call it in Australia)... what a beautiful, whimsical image!
