St. Albert Portraits| Christie and Stirling - January 1, 2009

I met up with Christie and Stirling today in St. Albert for some great photos. It was beyond cold. I have never ever ever been so cold. We set out to get some great couples portraits on the great red bridge behind the St. Albert Library but it was so bitter cold that we quickly grabbed some shots and raced back to my truck.

Our normally 1 hour shoot ended up taking 3 hours and a field trip to Starbucks and we drove from location to location, grabbed some great shots and jumped back in to warm up!

I am glad we did it though! The sun was perfect for some lens flare and the sky was an amazing blue. Here is a teaser of their pictures from today!

I Love the look on Christie's face in the first photo! She is snuggled into Stirling for warmth! Talk about bitterly cold! It almost motivated me to wear a coat next time! The temperature must have been low!

Can you say eyelashes?

The sun was in a sweet spot in the sky towards the end of the shoot! How is that for lens flare on a freezing day!

This is one of my favorite pictures from the day! Look at the contrast in footwear! Love it!

We never get snow here. But after seeing these shots I wish we did, at least for an hour. :) The first shot with the snowy hill behind them is adorable.
