Blast from the past leads to aching ankle!

I was stoked to meet up with Gregory, Alexander and Lisa today at Topsail Beach. It looked like it was going to be a great day and the weather held on until after their family photos. It has been miserable ever since I snapped the last photo of Gregory's Aerobatic Backwards Swing Flip (Disclaimer: I am not sure that I have the exact title, but I tried. I do stand to be corrected. The name was something very long and very athletic sounding.)

What was not athletic sounding was the racket I made when me and my camera with a very long lens went tumbling down an incline and twisted my ankle. I broke my lens, bruised my leg and my pants look like Tide commercial. I had fun though!

I have known this family for quite sometime. I can't tell you exactly how long, but I will tell you that I was Greg's first babysitter. He now goes to school dances, attends 7th grade and wanted to finish our photo session because 'I have friends to hang out with.' What a cutie! Alex was quite literally a baby when I saw him last. They have grown so much. I refuse to admit they got older, because that will mean that I did. We will just say they got taller. That's it. Taller.

Thanks for hanging out with me today guys. I had a great time taking your family photos! Hopefully it won't be so long until I see you all again!
