I know Nickie through Jamie's work. When she wanted to give her Mom an Island in the Mist Photography gift certificate for a Family Portrait Session as a Mother's Day present, I was thrilled! It was a long time in the making, but I finally met up with them at the Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton yesterday morning to shoot their family portraits!
As popular as it is for weddings, I love the Royal Alberta Museum and Government House for both engagement photos and family photos. The grounds are always immaculate and if you can avoid the crowds, you know you will have amazing backdrops for your photography session!
Here is a sneak preview of the Cowans. I always knew that Nickie was pretty, but her sisters are just as beautiful. What a beautiful family!
